Bringing healing to life
Growth happens through new experiences—not through explanation. Together we expand the healing field to include the body, mind, and beyond—restoring capacity, allowing familiar patterns to soften, and opening the possibility of greater choice, deeper connection, and a fuller experience of being alive.
My approach
What shapes my work
Drawing on contemporary approaches and healing traditions, these 5 principles guide my work.
My approach
What shapes my work
Drawing on contemporary approaches and healing traditions, these 5 principles guide my work.
Somatic & nervous system-based
Healing unfolds through the body, not through insight or story alone. We observe sensation, gesture, impulse, feeling, memory, imagination and dream, and invite change through direct experience in the present. Embodied change and vitality become possible.
Trauma processing
Trauma is the lasting impact of what overwhelms us, not a personal failing. Working through the body, we re-negotiate (not re-live) traumatic experiences. With careful pacing, natural self-protective responses can be restored, bringing ease, stability, and coherence.
Relational & attachment-oriented
Connection can heal early developmental imprints. We explore relationship patterns, boundaries, and trust through the languages of presence, movement, and contact. Therapy becomes a living field, where new ways of relating emerge to be brought into daily life..
Gentle, precise, & deep
This is moment-by-moment, attuned work that values readiness, over speed or intensity. Interventions are offered lightly and responsively, guided by shared curiosity. Subtle but meaningful embodied shifts unfold in response to presence rather than pressure.
Context, culture & systems-aware
Experiences, culture, systems, and ancestors impact us. How we show up now can reflect how we adapted to survive. This work honours personal identity, power, and lived experience, and sees healing within a wider relational and social landscape.
Who this helps
When life is asking something different of you
You may find yourself here because something no longer feels the same. Perhaps an experience has unsettled what once felt certain. Or maybe you’ve spent years learning, reflecting, and growing, yet still sense that something deeper is waiting to unfold…
Perhaps you recognise yourself here
-
You're at a threshold where the way you've always lived sets you up for burnout
-
You're living with health challenges and want to explore what’s underneath
-
You carry a sense that something remains unresolved, even if you can't quite name it
-
Old habits or relationship patterns continue, despite your insight and best efforts to change them
-
Early experiences may still be shaping how you trust, connect, or feel safe
-
You want to move beyond legacies that have travelled across generations
-
You're highly attuned to others, and more comfortable offering than receiving support
-
You're holding a great deal, but who’s caring for you?
-
You feel disconnected from your body, your vitality, or your sense of aliveness
-
Life’s been too serious for way too long and having fun is a distant memory
This work may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
instant results or immediate symptom reduction
hacks, tips, or off-the-shelf tools
a highly structured, predictable approach
generic nervous system education
understanding without lived experience
someone to diagnose, analyse, fix, or tell you what to do
You don’t need to have everything worked out before starting. If something here resonates, you’re welcome to take as long as you need to explore whether it feels right. Sometimes quiet recognition is enough to begin.
Offerings
Ways we can work together
Somatic Psychotherapy Sessions
I offer somatic psychotherapy and trauma renegotiation. Each session provides a bespoke, relational space that responds to your needs, circumstances, and pace. Together we slow down, listen deeply, and work with what’s present — whether you’re navigating a significant transition, living with the impacts of trauma or health challenges, or meeting longstanding patterns ready for change.
Clinical Supervision
Somatic supervision supports the development of embodied clinical responsiveness — deepening sensitivity to your client, yourself and what unfolds between you, while building trust in clinical decision-making. I support early-career therapists, allied health practitioners seeking an ethical, trauma-sensitive framework for practice, and clinicians wanting to integrate somatic approaches into their practice.
Groups & Events
At times, I offer groups, workshops or events that blend therapeutic and educational elements. These shared spaces invite a unique kind of healing, learning, and growth through connection with others. They may complement psychotherapy sessions or be experienced on their own. Themes vary, and details are shared as offerings arise.
About me
I came to this work through lived experience as much as professional training.
My own healing relationships helped me experience profound shifts and inspired an enduring curiosity about transformation and renewal. For more than twenty-five years, that curiosity has guided me through immersive study, practice, and ongoing inner work. Today, I bring these experiences together to offer therapy that is gentle, relational, and grounded in the wisdom of the body.
